Nyepi World? Is it possible?

Nyepi Day, one day Hindu festival which is celebrated in every turn of the year Caka, a calendar version of the Hindus in Bali , always carried out each year by stopping all activities for one full day.
Not many are aware that this activity was to provide a significant contribution in reducing CO2 emissions which is quite tortured earth and all life therein.

In a workshop with the theme Raising Workshop Local Wisdom Book on Climate Change Conference: Nyepi for the Earth at the Art Centre, Jl Nusa Indah, Denpasar, on Wednesday (28/11/2007) delivered some logical reasons contained in the Nyepi Day, for example:
as many as 1 million units of vehicles do not consume an average of 4 liters of gasoline a day and do not consume at least 80 aircraft jet fuel 1,600 kiloliters. 1 liter of gasoline or aviation fuel to produce 2.4 kilograms of CO2. Thus, a total of 13.5 metric ton of CO2 has been reduced during Nyepi.
For the Executive Director of Forum for Environment (WALHI) Bali Ni Nyoman Sri Widhiyanti said, has sent a letter to several parties, including President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Minister of State for the Environment to carry the message about Nyepi in the UNFCCC forum later.
