Maybe we've often heard stories about the island of Komodo. Moreover, last year the island located in the East Nusa Tenggara islands it had entered into a nominated 7 Wonders of the World.

But what the hell is actually inside the Komodo Island? So much interesting anyway? Look at the following three interesting things, and you definitely want to go straight there.

Pink Beach
If we usually play on the sandy beach brown or white, this time we will find a beach with pink sand! There are only 7 pieces of pink sandy beaches in the world, one of them on the island of Komodo. This pink sand mixed blessing white and red sand. The red color comes from his own supposedly destroyed red coral fragments. Clearly, this beach is very clean and beautiful!

Namiseom or Nami Island is a tiny island with a shape that resembles a crescent moon located in Chuncheon, South Korea. According to Wikipedia, this place was dedicated to General Nami, a commander who was executed for alleged treason against the king Sejo of the Joseon Dynasty.

The island was not a popular tourist spot is then attracted the attention of travelers since the shooting locations used in the famous drama Winter Sonata. Since then Namiseom make Winter Sonata as a promotional tool.

When 1,000 travelers from around the world were asked in a Hotels.com poll to rank 33 different amenities in order of importance, the ability to stay connected was deemed the most important in-room amenity, while free breakfast was the most sought-after overall hotel service.

Nyepi Day in BaliThe annually observed and uniquely Balinese Hindu Day of Silence, Nyepi, is generally met with a positive response from foreign visitors spending time on the island during the occasion.

Ketut Ardana, chairman of the Association of Indonesian Tour and Travel Agencies (ASITA) Bali, shared with Bali Daily over the weekend that foreign and domestic tourists generally did not specifically visit Bali for Nyepi, which this year falls on March 31.

Hard Rock DonationHard Rock Hotel Bali donated Rp 150,000,000 (US$12,720) to the Bali Pink Ribbon Foundation, as a result of its month-long Pinktober campaign in October 2013 and the charity fun run event, Rock ‘n Run, in November 2013.

The check was presented by Andrew Khoo, the general manager of Hard Rock Hotel Bali to Bali Pink Ribbon committee members at Centerstage last Friday.
