From the survey, that we did with some Operators or Travel Agents many tourists who prefer Bali rafting as a favorite tourist attraction and more sought after during a vacation in Bali. In Bali itself has two well-known rivers, they are; Ayung River in Ubud and Telaga Waja River in Karangasem.
But many tourists who would like to do Bali rafting prefer to do rafting at Telaga Waja River than Ayung River. Telaga Waja River is located in Rendang village in Karangasem regency approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from downtown of Denpasar. Telaga Waja River is more feasible chosen for the following reasons; Telaga Waja River has clear water along the river because there is no hotel or restaurant building as Ayung River Ubud Bali polluting the river water, the river water flow always exists because Telaga Waja River springs from Mount Agung is Bali's highest mountain. Telaga Waja River is the longest and fastest River in this Island with speed or class rapid of water rafting 3-4 and when you do rafting in here you do not need a lot of paddling so you would have much time on the river to relax and enjoy the natural scenery along Telaga Waja River, the time is taken 2 hours 30 minutes and the distance of 16 kilometers and different the Ayung river with water speed or class rapid from 2-3 and the distance 9 kilometers or 1 hour 30 minutes in the river.
