Residents Singaraja Plastic Waste Clean finished Work of Art

Green Singaraja increasingly vigorous campaign conducted citizen. Residents, students, and the students take action to clean along the river. Trash was used as an art installation.
Waste Care Movement Action begins at 6:00 pm, every day of the week. Hundreds of people combing the river from the bridge in the village of Banyuning to Singaraja harbor estuary.
They collect plastic waste. Cleaning large wooden pieces that stuck in bridge foundation, as well as to capture plastic waste washed away in the river estuary.
Some others, down the road, in the area around the port of Singaraja collect any plastic waste.
After taking action to clean up, students held a Undiksha Arts installation art trash. Various types of waste to be collected assembled into works of art.
Garbage collected in the river from upstream to downstream dihayutkan basket filled with flame as a symbol of waste has polluted the environment.
"Plastic waste is very worrying.'s Action should start from small things continually to raise the collective consciousness of the people to be concerned with waste," said Wayan Sudiarta, builder Mapala Undikhsa involved cleaning action.
Singaraja Regent Putu Agus Singaraja Suradnyana said it will make a model of plastic waste management in Bali. Suradnyana explain tourists visiting Singaraja complaining plastic garbage heap.
"Collecting plastic waste, I hope to be a model. Rancang Singaraja free of plastic waste. We will do every month, ask students and students clean up trash in Singaraja," he said.
